This 8.5 mile section of the BMT lies almost completely inside the boundary of the Cohutta Wilderness. Combined with section 11 in Tennessee, this area offers 15.7 miles of pure singletrack hiking without crossing a single road. If you are looking for a true wilderness experience in the Southeast, this is it!<br />
